About
They Had Meow: Tails of Love from the Homeless Cats of Buster Hollow won the Muse Medallion Award from the International Cat Writer’s Association.
The judge said: "She had me at her first sentence. A beautiful little jewel of a book: wonderful stories, valuable information about feral cats and just the right touch of humor to spice things up. If this book doesn't prompt you to care for an abandoned cat or kitten, then I fear for your humanity. If I could award more points, I would."
Meow also won the "Best Pets Book" award from the San Francisco Bay Area Independent Publishers Association.

"Rosie is a great name for an author and a rescuer of furry people. Her encounters with them are touching and comic. Rarely did I weep and if I did, it was with joy. Thank you, Rosie."
Ed Asner
"I loved Rosie's book! . . . Her book is a loving, compassionate hymn of praise to those mysterious beings who clearly are on earth to teach us all about love. . . . (Rosie's) book taught me a lot and gave me sheer delight! . . . Congratulations (to her) on writing a superb paean to cats!"
Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson
"My husband tells me he wants to be reincarnated as my cat. I think I want to be reincarnated as yours. In the meantime, give me Buster. What a cutie!"
